I am Chairman of marketing agency Tangible Response (called Target Direct before we joined the Cello Group of marketing companies).  I set it up with colleagues 16 years ago and mostly, we work with charities on their fundraising. We have commercial clients too but certainly my interest is with charities.  

Before this agency, I had set up Brann's Fundraising Unit so I've been providing marketing services for well over 25 years.  And I get quite passionate about it. We now have SUCH OPPORTUNITIES to deliver great service to the wonderful people who support charities that our abject failure to do so (with one or two exceptions) is a real indictment of the sector.

I can go on about it for hours!!

I'm an elected Trustee of the Institute of Fundraising and I chair the Standards Board which creates the Institute's Codes of Fundraising Practice.
