Now working independently, Christine specialises in coaching and mentoring, organisational capacity building, change management and strategic planning. She is also an Associate of the Cass Centre for Charity Effectiveness.  Having initially worked as the Director of Services at Breast Cancer Care, a national charity, Christine took up post as Chief Executive in September 2000 – a role she remained in until early 2008.  Prior to working at Breast Cancer Care, Christine was the Chief Executive of two HIV/AIDS charities and completed an MSc in Voluntary Sector Organisation and Social Policy at the London School of Economics.  Having initially trained as a nurse at London’s Hammersmith Hospital, specialising in oncology and haematology, Christine moved into NHS management within the HIV/AIDS and sexual health field.   She has also acted as a trustee and/or volunteer for a variety of organisations including a women’s refuge and a community project supporting HIV positive African women. Christine is currently a trustee of the Royal Free Hospital Charity.
