Social media offers you the change to reach an ever growing audience and interact with them in a way you never could before. it is now entirely possible to build entire campaigns from the group up using exclusively free and inexpensive social media tools.
ColaLife is a charity that has done just that. Starting with a Facebook group before they even had a website, founder Simon Berry created a campaign that saw his follower numbers grow into the thousands and gave him direct contact with one of the biggest companies in the world.
During this hands-on, collaborative workshop, Simon will show you how you can use social media to create a successful campaign. Drawing from a host of inspirational case studies and his own experience, Simon will explain what makes a good campaign, how to encourage your audience to interact with you and how to generate media support around your organisation
This event will be one of Simon’s last UK appearances before he relocates to Zambia to run the ColaLife pilot.

ColaLife is a charity working in developing countries to bring Coca-Cola, its bottlers and others together to open up Coca-Cola’s distribution channels to carry ‘social products’ such as oral rehydration salts and zinc supplements to save children’s lives.
