Hey there, I help run a support network for male survivors of sexual abuse. We are currently looking for funding but are finding it tough. We are wondering if anybody has any ideas as we need to raise money for small things like printing but people are not wanting to help.

Any ideas would be great

Many thanks

Hi there, how much money are you looking to raise? Are you a charity or an informal group? Do you have an office and staff or are you looking to cover the physical costs of a volunteer doing something? A bit more information would make it easier to help with your question....

Often local shops or businesses are worth approaching to give discounts on printing or supplies as long as they get a mention. For example my local neighbourhood group gets its newsletters printed for free by the local printer as they get a credit.

Alternatively there may be a free way of doing something you have to pay for - eg set up a blog (via wordpress or similar which is free) or hotmail email address rather than communicating by print.
