Change how the site looks

My Web, My Way is a useful guide from the BBC showing you how to change the settings on your computer or in your browser (eg Internet Explorer). These simple steps include showing you how to change the font type, increase the text size or change the colours on screen to suit your needs.

How the site is organised

The site is split into seven main sections:

Each of these areas have sub-sections. For example You and Your Team contains the following sub-sections: Managing Staff, Managing Volunteers, Building Teams and Your Development. Each of these sections has a homepage, a list of contents (in the left-hand column) and a discussion forum.

The site also has a news page, an events board, a cafe for general discussion. .

The sitemap contains a full list of what is on the site. The how to use this site page has more information for those new to the site.

Tips for screen reader users

The main site navigation is labelled as the 'grey navigation bar'. It contains links to the seven main sections. Once you are in a section or subsection, the left-hand navigation is labelled as 'this section contents'.
