CAREMATES FOUNDATION (for the care of the mind, body and the soul) a. To promote awareness and understanding of mental disorders among Black African and Afro-Carribean communities.. b. To assist in reducing stigmatization and neglect of people with mental disorders especially among ethnic minorities. c. To use appropriate means to publicise and promote the cause d. To organise appropriate religious/socio-cultural events and activities to educate them and thus help in promoting their physical and mental well beings. e.To raise funds on behalf of Black Africans and Afro-Carribean people who are severely disabled by varying degrees of mental disorders. f.To organise safe pre and post pregnancy education and tutorials for teenagers, girls and ladies from Black and other ethnic minority backgrounds in order to reduce infant mortality and uncensored sexual habits of people from this background. g.To promote healthy cohabitation, safe sexual relation and mutual bonding between Black mother and child. f. To seek to improve the quality of their life and independence
