About Nolan

Nolan is the quiet natured, artist son of James Frinley-Hughes. He left school at 18 and much to his father’s disapproval went to do his foundation in the local art college.

He then studied at l’Ecole des Beaux Arts in Paris where he met and fell in love with Carlotta. The relationship ended five years ago, when Carlotta threw a vase at his father after he made a rude comment about women.

He returned to Millcaster in 2004 and is showing his latest work at the Mill Pot Cafe. Nolan sometimes attends the meetings of the Mill Brew Society which his dad Chairs.
