Is Mark right to feel left out or should he just get on with his job? What can he do to make the situation better?

Mark is probably suffering a bit from not having the visual cues that he normally used to reassure himself about what is going on around him. Perhaps he didn't really need to build any particularly close bond with any of his office mates before, but now it is probably time to think about it.
He could of course tell his boss how he's feeling, but for this kind of situation he'd be better off finding someone else who could be a sounding board and bridge out to the others, especially at this sensitive early stage for him.
