About Ben

Ben has been in post as Director of HomeFront since January 2009. He moved to Millcaster from Birmingham where he was previously a senior housing manager in a large housing association. His knowledge and experience of working within Housing Corporation guidelines got him the job.

Ben is unused to working in a small organisation. He has so far focussed on the operational side of the organisation. So far he has given little attention to the Board who, until the Chair had a suspected heart attack, operated well and relations were good.

Ben became a father for the first time in August 2009 - a greatly longed for event. Ben and his partner Christa had been trying for a baby for some time. Their baby is called David, whom they call “Buster”. Neither have any family nearby and Christa is anxious about caring for Buster when Ben returns to work after his two weeks’ paternity leave.
